【Sundays】Nairobi → Lake Naivasha (about 2 hours drive)

(Note: Please arrive Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Airport code: NBO) in Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday. Airport transfer between 10:00-22:30 is included at no extra cost; Hotel accommodation on Saturday night is also included in the tour package.)

After breakfast, we’ll depart to Lake Naivasha. Hugged by grassy banks and acacia woodlands, Lake Naivasha os the most beautiful freshwater lake in Kenya, sitting atop the Rift Valley at an astonishing 1,884 meters above sea level. The lake produces perch and African crucian carp, habitat to hippos and various waterfowl. You can take a 90-minute speedboat cruise to see the avian wonders up close (as close as 5 meters), including pigeons, flamingoes, crows, and even fish eagles. You will get to witness dozens of hippos wallowing in water and the different species of birds on Crescent Island. This island was one of the settings for the 1985 movie “Out Of Africa” starring Meryl Streep.

【Mondays】Lake Naivasha → Masai Mara Wildlife Sanctuary (3.5 hours drive)

We’ll set off early to Masai Mara, and arriving at about lunch time. After checking in and a short rest, get ready to be amazed as you take a trip through the world's most famous wildlife sanctuary, the Masai Mara National Park. This animal paradise spreads over about 1,672 square kilometers of open plains, woodlands and riparian forests that was established in 1961. Masai Mara National Park is home to the world's largest wild mammal species, with about 95 species of mammals and 450 species of birds.

【Tuesdays】Masai Mara Game Reserve → Full Day Safari

Today we’ll drive through the Masai Mara Prairie to the Mara River area to track and observe various wild animals in the Masai Mara National Park (Full Day). The Mara River in Africa flows through Kenya and Tanzania in Africa, with a total length of 395 kilometers and a drainage area of 13,504 square kilometers, of which 60% are located in Kenya and 40% in Tanzania. The river originates in the rainy mountains of Kenya and the Great Migration constituting more than 1.5 million wildebeest trek in an enormous loop every year, crossing the Mara River, migrating back and forth between Kenya's Masai Mara National Park and Tanzania's Serengeti National Park. It is recognized as one of the "Seven Wonders of the Natural World." The treacherous currents and lurking crocodiles makes the crossing the hardest part, life-or-death journey, to pursue water and new grassland. So the crossing of the Mara River is often referred as the “Crossing of the Kingdom of Heaven”.

【Wednesdays】Masai Mara Wildlife Sanctuary → Nairobi (about 4 hours drive)

You will wrap up your Masai Mara adventure with a visit to the last primitive Masai tribal village - arguably the most iconic tribal group in all of Africa. You will have a chance to watch and take part in song and dance performances. Next, return to Nairobi for urban activities.

Side note: Please be noted that while on your visit to the Masai village, you will be invited to support the village by buying some curio or souvenirs. This is not mandatory as we have already paid the entrance fee. Be prepared that some villagers could be pushy, trying to sell you inexpensive handmade craft items. This could be an unpleasant part of the visit for some travellers. Besides this minor negative point, the whole African village experience still makes the visit worthwhile.

【Thursdays】 Nairobi → Amboseli National Park (about 4 hours drive)

After breakfast, head to the terrific Amboseli National Park, located in the border area between Kenya and Tanzania, on the border of Kenya. Set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa at an altitude of 5,895 meters above sea level. Enjoy 360-degree stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro in the vast open space of the park. And take iconic photos of the animals that roam freely. We’ll stay overnight at a 5-star camp at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro for a memorable, relax African safari experience.

【Fridays】Amboseli National Park (Full Day)

After breakfast, enjoy a full day at Amboseli National Park safari. Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular African resort destinations. Located near the equator, Mt. Kilimanjaro is known for its year round snow-capped peak, and the dramatic view from the surrounding plains. Amboseli means "dry lake". Amboseli National Park is one of the best viewing spots for the Kilimanjaro Snow Mountain, with towering snow-capped peaks and flocks of elephants. The landscape here is regarded as a symbol of Africa, sensationally unforgettable experience

【Saturdays】Amboseli National Park → Airport Drop-off

Enjoy breakfast at hotel to mark a sweet end of this trip. Airport drop-off is arranged based on your flight departure time. (We recommend to book flights scheduled to depart after 3pm). Have a safe flight back home!
